Returning an item
How does returning an item work?

We cover the shipping costs for all customers within the EU – your order will be delivered to you free of charge.

If an item does not meet your expectations, you can of course return it to us within 30 days. Please note, however, that the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Why do we handle it this way?

Fairness towards all customers is important to us. If we were to cover the return shipping costs as well, these costs would have to be factored into our product prices. This would mean that customers who keep their orders would also be helping to finance the returns.

With this solution, shipping to you remains free of charge – and return shipping costs are only incurred in the event of an actual return.

Why does GAMSWILD ship from Germany even though it is an Austrian brand?

GAMSWILD is a Tyrolean brand and an Austrian family business. However, most of our online customers come from Germany.

For logistical reasons, it is therefore most efficient to ship our orders centrally from a warehouse in Germany. This enables us to guarantee faster delivery times, stable shipping processes, and more economical shipping costs—both to Germany and to Austria and the rest of the EU.

This does not result in any disadvantages for our customers. On the contrary: thanks to the centralized shipping solution, you benefit from smooth processing and short delivery times.

Shipping to other European countries is often expensive – how do you manage to offer free shipping despite this?

International shipping costs within Europe can indeed be high. In order to still be able to offer our customers free shipping, we use a special shipping program from DHL.

This program is specifically designed for lightweight shipments with limited package sizes – ideal for our sunglasses. Thanks to the optimized shipping structure and efficient processing, we can significantly reduce shipping costs.

We pass these savings directly on to our customers – allowing us to offer free shipping throughout Europe without compromising on security or reliability.

All our glasses offer maximum UV400 protection and guarantee 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays. They are made from certified materials and naturally comply with all CE guidelines.

GAMSWILD eyeglass lenses are available with different features. Mirrored, tinted lenses, coatings such as ANTIFOG or POLARIZED, and, depending on requirements, also made from the shatterproof material POLYCARBONATE. The ANTIFOG coating is a special surface treatment to prevent fogging of the glasses, which is particularly practical when practicing sports. With POLARIZED lenses, there is no unpleasant glare or light reflection, for example on wet roads or near water. POLYCARBONATE is a material that we use specifically for eyeglass lenses in our sports collection. It is extremely scratch-resistant and offers optimum safety thanks to its very high impact and break resistance.

As a private customer, you can purchase GAMSWILD glasses from selected retailers in the Alpine region of Austria, Germany, and Italy. You can view, try on, and purchase our models in person at over 100 sports stores and ski rental shops in these countries.
